Supporting our Community
We often get requests for donations of our glass artwork to a wide range of community organizations. And we are glad to help, where we can.
This year we are proud to support the Run For the Wall, an organization dedicated to promoting healing among all veterans and their families and friends, calling for an accounting of all POW/MIA, honoring the memory of those KIA from all wars, and supporting our military personnel all over the world. In addition, we are donating to the annual celebration and fundraiser for One Nurse At A Time (ONAT). Unlike many humanitarian nursing programs, ONAT is dedicated to providing education along with healthcare so that the quality of care improves even after their volunteers go home. The organization is comprised of nurses from different walks of life and nursing career paths who reach out to other nurses and help them get involved in the humanitarian and volunteer arena.
Finally, we'll be donating to the La Canada Flintridge Tournament of Roses. This organization provides volunteer opportunities for youth in the community in design, planning, fundraising, and teamwork.
And, for the consecutive third year, we will support Healthcare for Homeless Animals, which is celebrating 20 years (140 dog years) of helping animals in need.
